Western Australians deserve a government that promotes state development and economic growth.

Western Australia is a state of immense potential, rich in natural resources, global trade opportunities, and vibrant regional communities.

Yet, under the Cook Labor Government, our industries, businesses, and regional areas have been hamstrung by mismanagement, excessive red tape, and policy failures that stifle investment and economic growth.

Western Australia’s future relies on a strong and diversified economy supported by strategic policies that encourage growth, innovation, and job creation.

The WA Liberal Party knows practical, well-structured policies will create new opportunities and build a stronger Western Australia for future generations.

Our priorities must remain consistent – promoting our state’s industries, unlocking potential, and supporting businesses.

Western Australia needs a state development plan that supports a business-friendly environment, reduces bureaucratic delays, and makes strategic investments in key sectors to unleash WA’s full potential.

Only a WA Liberal Government will deliver it.

What we will do.

The WA Liberals believe in a bold and pragmatic approach to state development, one that prioritises innovation, supports industry and ensures that every Western Australian benefits from our state’s prosperity.

A WA Liberal Government will prioritise trade by modernising WA’s strategy to better engage with key global markets, ensuring businesses can expand and compete internationally.

Securing WA’s energy future is critical, and we will invest in infrastructure that supports both traditional and renewable energy sources while maintaining the reliability of supply.

We will commit $100 million to the Regional Housing Infrastructure Program to increase the supply of homes and help families, workers, and industries.

To boost economic development, we will cut excessive regulatory barriers by reforming the Environmental Protection Act, streamlining approvals, and eliminating bureaucratic duplication that stifles investment and slows project delivery.

Western Australia’s tourism industry is an essential contributor to the economy, and we will ensure continued access to key natural attractions, including Horizontal Falls, The Gloucester Tree, and Wave Rock.

Our resources sector remains a pillar of the economy, and we will lift the current restrictions on uranium mining to unlock a $1 billion industry and generate 9,000 jobs.

We will review the Aboriginal Heritage Act to provide certainty for landowners and businesses while maintaining appropriate cultural protections.

Additionally, the fishing industry will benefit from moving to five-year contracts, offering operators greater stability and long-term planning security.

The WA Liberal Party is committed to fostering economic growth, removing barriers to investment, and ensuring the prosperity of communities across the state.

Western Australians deserve a government committed to forward-thinking investment in our state, unlocking its full potential for generations to come.

Only the WA Liberal Party will ensure we remain a leader in trade, energy security, housing, infrastructure, environmental approvals, tourism, and regional development.
